Is it Tuesday yet?
Our Garbage Guy, Richard, has a little fan club that follows him & his BIG TRUCK....& Spencer is the president! Every Tuesday we have to hurry & get up so that we can see the garbage truck. Most days we sit on the front porch waiting. Or else we leave all the doors open so that we can hear him coming.....& then we run fast! Most Tuesday's we find ourselves following him down the street - without shoes!
Richard (the best garbage guy) drives down the street extra slow to give us time to run outside & wave (if we haven't been waiting for an hour already)! Then when he waves like he is just as excited to see us as we are to see him. 
Last week he stopped & asked Spencer if he wanted to help him. Richard took him right up in the seat with him & showed him everything. He even took extra time to talk to us & wait for Spencer to run & get his football gear because of course he had come to play with Spencer! It feels a little disrespectful to call Richard the garbage man. But hey we respect our garbage & our garbage man. Too bad everyone can't have a Richard - he's the BEST!

I agree--he is the best! A few weeks ago, he stopped at a house on our street and waited, honked the horn, and waited some more while they pulled the garbage out to the street. Above and beyond, and amazing!
